Was anyone there can do a review of the match. Struggling to find anything, in particular with my boy Miller. I see he kicked a couple of goals

To summarise the match we were skill wise not quite up to Norwoods level.
It was Norwoods second hit out and our first, and maybe it showed.
Besides Warren the legs were at pretty well full strength while we were missing a few.
Nick Liddle was very good, Rolfe had his moments and Ainger worked hard in the forward line. Miller showed some glimpses of skill and for his lean frame goes in hard. I think he has alot of potential.
Norwood will be a good team again this year and right up in the mix for the flag.
We will need another good hit out against the Eagles this weekend to blow away a few cob webs

Interesting squads for the Eagles trial. Anyone know how Crate, Macnamara, Pfeiffer, Veide are travelling? I don't think these guys have fronted in either trial. Seems a few being rested this week which I assume is due to the workload ahead should we get a few rounds into the Foxtel Cup.

I know it's a trial game , but the boys showed some really good signs today. To beat Eagles (the top side) at almost full strength is very healthy indicator, but what I like most of all was that The Panthers just didn't give up, even when they were 4 goals down. Great work lads. Footy season!!! bring it ONNNN!!!

Wow thats a fair list of injured, hopefully keeping the first 4 out of the weekend's trial was only precautionary. Looks like our depth will be tested early.

Unfortunately the nature of football. At least they will be back in the near future. It seems we may have more depth this season and we will need it! Cant wait until saturday night!

Very Happy I sense an air of real pragmatic optimism about this season, perhaps we are maturing as a club, players administrators & supporters. I don't agree with all decisions that have been made but overall I feel we are moving in the right direction.
We appear to have more depth to cover injuries, and to beat last years premiers with a lot of players out , (only a trial game - but good effort) was very pleasing.
We've all been optimistic before but this year could be gain us some real respect. Smile

You need a good team and depth to get into the finals and also an injury list that isnt hideous. We have a few out but touch wood they will be back in a few weeks. It will be interesting to see how our team lines up on saturday night.
