Can't say I know the name Beilby - anyone know what number he wears?

Good to see Shaun McKernan playing again after a bad facial injury. Did I hear he suited for the Crows against Geelong a couple of weeks ago when Jacobs pulled out?

Former Redlegs reserves player, not sure about which number he wears tho, pretty sure he is a forward from memory

Went to the Nwd v Sturt game last wk with a mate, obviously as a neutral supporter
Nwds work rate really impressed me, despite them losing the hit outs decisively & clearances it was their ability to continue running, numbers around the ball & creating space that was the difference.
If we have any chance in this game we have to match it
I noticed also they form almost a wall around their 50 when the opposition kicks out, we need to generate run out of our defense to counteract this(Too often Sturt would get the first kick out, but unable to penetrate further - because there was no run they would literally have to kick to a contest & were regularly outnumbered.)
Hoping the boys are nice & fired up & will take it up to the Legs!
If something to salvage from the season, I would like nothing more to beat this mob.

Keep trying to the bitter end! Not going to be an easy game but we have to give it our best shot! We potentially have the midfield and forward line to go with them, but down back will be a concern. Hope to be proven wrong!
Truly hope we can finish off the season with some good footy and not just fall away and leave us with stuff all to take out of another fruitless season!

I suppose it would be too much to hope that we could do the same as last year...
Really need to finish the year off well even if we don't play finals. Our forward line looks potent, our midfield has talent but our defence deficiencies are obvious to everyone. I still believe we lack a bit of experience and leadership plus a strong rebounding centre half back.
Disappointing that Ben Warren looks like he might be the 3rd player from our club to get a premiership medal with another club in recent times.

Yep not good enough and in all honesty we were lucky to get close in the last quater.
Our midfield again stood out, while our defence and forward line are just not functioning well enough.
Pedestrian 3rd quater was the ultimate game killer!
Lots to work on over the summer!
