Think the coach will have a massive impact on player exodus.

Time will tell .

I spoke with a senior player during the week who told me EVERYONE was back on for next year, mentioning in particular the names 'Lids', 'Gotchy', 'Crossy' and 'Wundks'.

Whilst this isn't gospel, it's a pretty good sign...

Seems a few were campaigning pretty hard to get Ron to stand down.

With the Magpies now nothing more than a hollow “support” team for the Power, I’m sure we’re actively pursuing a few of their players. Whilst they can elect to stay with Port, the money, stability and opportunity at other SANFL clubs will hopefully be a lure for some.

Grey, Kirkwood, Raikiwasa, Kuilikowski, Summerton, Beard, Watt, Thurgood and young Johansen would be worth talking to.

Agree Saintal club should def speak to some of these Port Boys. I would make Kory Beard No 1 on the shopping list we desperately need a CHB and even more so with Hartigan no longer playing for us!!!!

I heard likewise also (Players sought out the board demanding action)......whilst players signing on is guaranteed yet......it seems the underlying factor has been removed (no disrespect to Ron)

I remember reading that Justin bollenhagen said if Ron goes a lot of players would come back or stay. Interesting how things work out , be interesting to see if Justin and who else comes back?

So far no news regarding players re-signing. Is there likely to be any announcements at the B&F?

Or is everyone just sitting back until coach is named!

Couldn't hurt Central are a sinking ship so he might be interested in returning home.

Quality player real shame he left South in the first place. We must retain players!!!!!!

Still think the clubs first priority needs to be a key backman. Would be throwing the kitchen sink at Kory Beard to get him to South!!!!

If Boyd were keen to return to South u would have to have a serious look at it. He is a proven ball winner and u can never have too many good midfielders!!!!!

Boyd is not the answer! Plenty of other good players to chase other than him! Good ball winner not so good with his disposal.
I'd take summerton or Gray well before him!

From SAFC website

The South Adelaide Football Club are pleased to announce the continued commitment of a number of senior players for 2014. Star midfielder and three-time Knuckey Cup winner, Nick Liddle has re-signed this week and joins a number of very important players that were quick to commit to the club’s future in Keegan Brooksby, Brett Eddy, Tarak Redigolo, Jake Veide and Xavier Gotch. The club looks forward to dynamic forward Peter Rolfe returning to action next season after his knee injury with Peter signing a two year deal that will ensure he remains a vital part of our team until at least the end of 2015.

As a club we are confident this group can develop strongly ahead of next season and provide more excitement for our supporters in 2014. We also expect to be in a position to announce some further player commitments to our club in the coming weeks.

So with Gotch now announced can we expect an announcement on Cross and Wundke re-signing, everyday that passes makes me nervous they will leave.

Also does anyone know if Murphy is signed for next year?

We need to keep all these blokes!
