North Adelaide Mascot at Willunga

I think the club should use the Media Attention to its advantage.

This year might be hard to get media attention with the 2 AFL reserves side so I think the club should contact North Adelaide and promote a battle of the mascots at both the home and away game.

Use the media attention to our advantage and turn what looks like a negative for the club into a positive.

Maybe they could battle it out pre game in a series of events.

Definitely a slow News day methinks, however any publicity is good publicity..apparently..?

Just wondering about how the club will set things up for the AFL reserves teams when they venture down to Hickinbotham...
perhaps a few ideas just to make their supporters feel comfortable I would suggest...

Port- cover vast areas of the outer with tarpaulins..

Crows..- have signs flashing ..alerting them when to cheer... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

I see where your coming from B&W, but first the club should be really concerned as to how many Blue and White people are going to attend these matches, I somehow have an inkling our supporter base is dropping off.

Yeah the clubs memberships numbers have been in decline for a few years. Someone told me we only had 400 members last year surely this isn't true???

I can remember the times when the membership numbers were given at AGM's, thats not done any more. I heard a similar number to 400 as well.

Prowler do you have any idea what the member numbers were at their peak? Curious to know how many members the club has lost.

If those figures are true the club has lost 2/3rd's of its membership in the last 5 years  Shocked

I heard the club will be ramping up its member campaign during Feb so hopefully they can get those people back on board!!!!!!!!

I would think that the figures mentioned above would be around the mark. I beleive the club did itself no favours with the membership packages available in recent years more or less driving people away. Thankfully the packages available this season are a vast improvement, and should surely help our numbers.
One thing that could help is for the club to win its first 3-4 home games!!

The club did the worst thing by getting rid of the general membership a few years ago .... Completely p$$$ off supporters and many left. Bad move I was dead against and wrote to the club about how this will impact us in a negative way. I got a 2 sentence response. !!!
This year it is good to see the 3 game $40.00 membership for people to get back to the club and get involved again.

I do fear the future for the club though. We must engage with our southern community !!!!
