So much for the AFL style game plan designed to negate AFL teams!

Well personally I dont think the game plan has been the problem...
the problem during Sundays third quarter was a complete lack of intensity from the playing group- which they mysteriously regained in the last quarter.

I agree. The body language of our players in the third qtr. almost had me in tears. Heads down, shoulders drooping, it was the time for them to suck it up and show some leadership to their teammates but it never happened.

I had a devastating attack of Deja Vu.  No

I personally feel the next few games a critical to finding out where we are (and where we will be placed) in this competition.

For sure.

We will know by halfway through the second round of matches where we stand. As they say, 'one week at a time'.

Poor on field leadership & a few players who just aren't up to league standard. No use complaining after all the club reappointed the same leadership group who laid down & surrendered last year to ensure the coach got the sack. None of them should have been reappointed! You get what you deserve!

Maybe a touch harsh? A couple of players may need a run in the twos but hopefully with a two week break we should bounce back with a hard edged performance against Sturt. I too was critical of the rubbish third quater we dished up against Adelaide! I've noted if we don't bring intensity to our games, and that involves effective tackling and pressure we simply won't win! Some of this stuff is between the ears so against Sturt we Better lift!

Massive game in front of us against Sturt .

Need to be on our game from the start .

A few need a rest in ressies but a few will be stepping up and given an opportunity to prove themselves.

Get behind them. ! Wink

Interesting call Black Panther. Had similar feelings last year. Hoping they can redeem themselves this year, but time will tell.
