Skillful defender Adam Gulden, versatile utility Tyson Brown and crafty forward Matt Raitt have all put pen to paper on deals that will see them stay in Noarlunga for the 2018 season.

Gulden endured an injury-delayed start to 2017, but was a welcome addition to the side in the latter stages of the year, adding plenty of run and carry out of defence, averaging 24.5 touches through six games and chalking up his 50th game for South in the process.

After badly injuring his hamstring in the 2016 Qualifying Final against Sturt, Brown could only manage one League game in 2017.

However, the Panthers 2016 Most Improved Player is now fully fit and ready to tackle a full pre-season ahead of 2018.

Finally, the speedy Raitt, who joined the Club in 2017 after being part of Flagstaff Hill's 2016 SFL Premiership tilt, will look to build on his six senior matches for the Panthers.

The inked up forward-midfielder made his debut against Norwood in Round 4, kicking a memorable goal in front of the Members Grandstand and steadily came into his own at senior level, showcasing his forward pressure and slotting seven goals for the year.

Three young Panthers have committed to return to Noarlunga in 2018.

2017 debutantes Cody Szust, Connor Fairlie and Alex Moyle will continue their SANFL careers at South Adelaide in 2018 after all enjoying a taste of senior football last season.

Fairlie was the first cab off the ranks, earning his League debut against Glenelg in Round 3.

The former Panthers junior played six games for the season, impressing with his pace and attack at the footy.

'Regg' Moyle returns after a big 2017, claiming the J.L. Brown Trophy (Reserves Best & Fairest) and making his debut against the Eagles in Round 9.

Another former junior at the Club, the diminutive on-baller's added a second senior appearance in the Round 18 win over Adelaide.

The silky skilled Szust, who is also a product of South Adelaide's Talent Pathway, impressed at senior level after getting the call up to face Central District in Round 6.

By the end of the season he notched seven SANFL Macca's League games and took home the 2017 David Kantilla Memorial Trophy awarded to the Best First Year League Player.

The Club looks forward to watching these talented young men continue to develop in blue and white during the 2018 season.

South Adelaide continues to bolster its midfield as Ben Heaslip and Adam Hunter sign on for 2018.

Former Panthers Under-18s captain Ben Heaslip returns after a strong 2017 season that saw him solidify his spot in South's best 21.

The big-bodied on-baller added 16 games to his League tally, gathering 15.9 touches per contest and claiming the 2017 Most Improved Player Award at the Knuckey Cup.

After making his senior debut on Good Friday 2015, Heaslip claimed the 2015 David Kantilla Memorial Trophy (Best First Year League Player) and has since notched 24 top flight games.

Adam Hunter joined the club in 2017 after playing a key role in Mount Compass' drought-breaking 2016 GSFL A Grade Premiership and previously playing one League game for Sturt.

A hard-running and skillful wingman, Hunter played 14 senior games in 2017, averaging 15.8 possession a game, before a hip ailment and hand injury curtailed the latter stages of his season.

We look forward to seeing both men back in action in the blue and white in 2018!
