Agree with you there Bundy, would love to see the Panthers get the jump on them from the first siren and put them under pressure for a change!

With names like Trevena and Brooksby in the side, I'm getting flashbacks!

Gotta work this weekend, but gonna try to get down for at least a half... Would love a win...

Will be great to have O'Keefe and McKernan back on the park too - missed both of those guys last week.

Good to see Brooksby retained in the side, he will be an asset in future years, comes from good stock. Trevena is a bit of a surprise, although he has put in accountable games the last few weeks, I think his body is not up to the harsh work from the Dogs. O'Keeffe was certainly missed last week and with McKernan able to shake off the flu we will certainly strengthen the line up.

Can we win?, well that remains to be tested, and depends whether the players as a whole are prepared to do that little bit extra to ensure we do.

Agreed - just as well Hatley isn't in the side also!

We have caused the occasional upset at Noarlunga against the Dogs, so we can only hope we see a repeat. I’ll be expecting a much more competitive effort than last week’s debacle. Need a forward to bag 4 or 5 if we’re going to be any chance.

The Boyd factor adds a little extra spice to the contest doesn’t it..

A few familiar names returning to the Ressies which is good to see. Better late than never. Hopefully they can make it two wins in a row, while the 18s would rate their chances also.

It will be interesting to see how his former team mates take to him considering he didn't want to play with them any more.

Although I think there are a few other they'll be more concerned about.

For those who cant get there LifeFM (107.9FM) will have "duo-cast" of the game.

ie we will cross live to Phil Aspinall at Noarlunga during the quarters during our broadcast of Port v Eagles @ Alberton.

Liddle outstanding for South today.

Please BK and Co......sign him up for 2011 now!!!

I thought todays game was pretty average.....I still dont think we used the breeze in the 1/4 to our advantage,

Liddle was so far ahead in his form with other players today not performing to what i know they can achieve,

Some shocking skill errors/decision making that I hope we can tidy up......

I was a bit disappointed no one gave a bit to Boydy. Oh well...next time maybe Laughing

All I can add to that is: Thank God Liddle plays for us and not against us.

I'm pretty sure that Liddle and the other Vic recruits were signed for two years. Lets hope they stay unlike Joyce who seems to have vanished.

Joyce gone back home yep. Unable to settle in Adelaide according to adelaidenow.com.au

Frustrating game on Saturday. I thought the Dogs looked vulnerable, and a lot of their goals in the first half resulted from our errors. (Gowans unattended at the ruck stoppage, Cocky spilling a mark in the goal square, a few fumbles at half back in the 2nd Q that resulted in long goals etc).

Played some great footy in parts, and if we attack the front running Roosters with the same hardness and work-rate, then surely the blokes will be rewarded with the points...

I for one am sick of seeing us get touched up by a pretty ordinary North side.

North are on the ropes.....for there side on paper they look good.

The pressure is on Healy and the players.....the Rooster faithful are calling out for blood. (read their forums!!!)

Its time we are the deadly thorn in their side.

There is nothing better than beating North Adelaide.....well maybe the Bays Laughing

Lets all get out there and support the guys!!!

G'Day fellow Southies, long time supporter, first time poster; Re: Joyce, have it on good authority from a snr league player he has left the club; I dread hearing someone else leaving as this seems to be too regular of an occurance, guess we need a balance of stability, whilst finding those who are the right fit for the team.

Welcome PP!

I made a comment that caused some reaction early in the season when I said that I hoped that of the recruits we gained that we would retain 50% of them as those would be similar figures to what has been seen over at West Adelaide after their then new coach Andy Collins implemented a similar strategy of recruiting into Westies.

In our case we are not so much as recruiting established VFL or WAFL players, yet have focused on going for juniors who have shown some talent, Liddle is one example of where the strategy has worked very well and its hoped that others will show the same form. Yet IMO I think its likely that a 100% strike rate in developing junior players is unlikely.

Will be interesting to see the clubs recruiting strategy for 2011 and how they tinker with it if at all!
